Today is not exactly a good day for me. Have this really moodie kinda mood altho I’m listening to X’mas songs (now)…trying to get myself in the mood but it doesn’t work. Some X’mas songs can sounds kinda sad too – This one that I’m listening rite now : The Rosary by Mario Lanza – sounds kinda SAD.

Anyway, I was watching Grey’s Anatomy a while ago. Joe (myself) ended up sobbing again. O’Malley’s dad is diagnosed with Cancer. U muz be saying “For gawd sake, its just a TV-series” But I was just trying to put myself in his shoe. What if this happens to my family members?

I got a question to ask, to choose family or career?

In this episodes there’s this gurl who was knocked down by her nanny and her mummy was so damn angry with the nanny that she fired her. But what is absurb is that the gurl keep on looking for the nanny after her operation despite the fact that she was knocked down (by car) by her – accident lar, not on purpose. The mother doesn’t seems to satisfy her daughter at all. She cant sing her daughter fave good nite song, her daughter is not really that close with the mummy….Morale of the story is that the gurl was very attached to her nanny rather her biological mummy – why? cos her mum IS a career freak. So? Wat do u think? Hmmmm, its hard to keep a good family relationship and with a superb career, rite?

I always believe to gain something you have to lose something. Its always hard to have a balance in between. But which is the one that we always sacrifice? Family, rite? Why cos we (or just me?) need money and more money and more money and more money…..and we gets so satisfy with the good work we done for our company and our company lurves us! Company lurves us cos we did a good job…. So what about the family? Yea, we buy them gifts, give them money, send them pictures, call them ONCE in a while, always tell them that we miss them…..but is that what they need most? Don’t u think spending time with them is what they wanted best? but i know, its not as easy as just typing this out. We cant lose the job, we need to make our bosses lurves us and thinks that we are a smart-ass.

Anyway, my point is that we (or just me) sho spend more time with them before its too late. Life is short. You never know what will happen next.

O'Malley's dad is diagnose with cancer!
